Friday | Nov. 16, 2001
Good progress continued on HST Servicing Mission (SM) 3B payload processing at KSC. The first portion (pivots only) of the FSS Comprehensive Performance Test (CPT) was successfully completed.

The Second Axial Carrier (SAC) and Multi-Use Lightweight Equipment (MULE) post shipment CPTs were successfully completed.

The truck containing several Orbital Replacement Units (ORU) was received. It contained the Solar Array (SA) III Masts, the Power Control Unit (PCU) Replacement (PCUR), and the Diode Box Assembly (DBA) IIs. The +V2 Mast has been installed. Receiving inspection and integration of the other hardware is currently underway.

The Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) completed its pre-ship functional test. The instrument will be installed in its shipping container next week.

The design, fabrication, and assembly of the following Near Infrared Camera and Multi-Object Spectrometer (NICMOS) Cooling System (NCS) hardware was accomplished: one relay box (Aft Shroud Cooling System (ASCS) Relay Unit Breaker Assembly [ARUBA]), two relay box controllers, and the W101B Harness.

Monday | Nov. 19, 2001
Pre-launch processing of Columbia continues in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF). Airlock verification is in work and preparations are under way to perform Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) leak and functional tests and install the main engine heat shields later this week.

Friday | Nov. 16, 2001
Columbia is in the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) where preparations continue for the Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission. Work in progress includes leak checks following installation of the main engines and airlock verification tests.

Tuesday | Nov. 13, 2001
In the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF), Columbia's main engines have been installed. Engine leak checks and potable water servicing are in work.
