One of four reaction wheel assemblies (RWA), which
is part of Hubble's pointing control system, will be replaced
by a refurbished unit. Spin momentum in the reaction wheels
moves the telescope into a commanded position and maintains
it there in a stable position.

Shuttle managers made the decision today to reschedule the
launch of the STS-109 mission to Thursday, Feb. 28 to allow
more preparation time for a replacement Reaction Wheel Assembly
that will be installed on the Hubble Space Telescope.

In the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF), forward and aft
closeout operations of Shuttle Columbia are in progress in
preparation for roll out to the Vehicle Assembly Building
for space vehicle mate.

Pre-launch operations have resumed in the Orbiter Processing
Facility (OPF) after the Christmas holidays, preparing Columbia
for the Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission scheduled
for no earlier than Feb. 21.
Verification testing of replaced Auxiliary Power Unit No 3
is complete and fuel connections will be worked this weekend.
Forward and aft closeouts are in progress.
