In this version of the catalog, distances to IPs and cadidates
are derived from Gaia EDR3 parallaxes, taken from
the ESA Gaia archive,
whenever a unique match with a non-negative parallax measurement
is available.
The distance estimates are then obtained using
ARI's
Gaia Services using the geometric (and not photogeometric) prior of
Bailer-Jones
et al. 2021.
