 Feb 14 - 16 :: Hubble payload is brought to the Launch Pad
The Hubble payload was once again loaded into the containment canister and turned vertical, where upon it slowly crawled its way to the launchpad. At the launchpad it was hoisted up the Rotating Serivice Structure (RSS). The payload was then tranfered out of the canister and into the Payload Changeout Room (PCR) of the RSS.
 Jan 30 - 31 :: Astronauts train at launch site
The crew took part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities which involves a simulated countdown at the launch pad. The simulation includes emergency exit training where the crew drives an M-113 armored personnel carrier. There is at least one individual shot of each of the 7 astronauts.
