Things have been busy here, so we’ve just got a quick round-up for you for this week! We did want to get it out today, though, because there is time sensitive info about a tweet-up opportunity within!

What does it feel like to fly over planet Earth? If this movie of footage from the International Space Station is any indication, it must be spectacular!

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the last six of the James Webb Space Telescope’s eighteen mirror segments to go through cryogenic testing at NASA Marshall. All of the mirror segments have finished being polished and coated!

Interested in a tour of NASA Wallops? Registration for a tweet-up and tour of Wallops will open at 9 a.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 23 and close at noon on Monday, Sept. 26. Those who sign up may register to bring a guest. NASA will randomly select a total of 50 participants. Because Wallops is a government facility with restricted access, the event is open only to U.S. citizens. More information in this NASA release.
