The Roman Space Telescope mission partners are planning to start the Roman Community Forum. This will be a monthly virtual meeting that will provide updates on Roman mission status and plans, and an opportunity for the science community to engage with the Roman Project and Science Centers.
To keep up to date with the Roman Project sign up to the mailing list by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a subject. It's technically not needed to join, but having it helps prevent an issue where a subscription submission could be quietly deleted.
This Forum will serve as a welcome to the newly selected science teams and provide a general overview for engaging with the Roman project.
The May meeting provided updates on the progress in integration and test of the observatory.
The Roman Mission held multiple virtual Q&A and discussion sessions in late April and early May to encourage and facilitate community interaction and collaboration on white papers.
At each session there was a presentation on the community definition of Roman's Core Community Surveys.
April's community forum focussed on science pitches and the recently released white paper call.
The March forum featured an update from the Software Working Group. To join a Working Group complete the form on the signup page.
