Results

Chandra HETG observations resolve the Fe Kalpha complex in magnetic CVs cleanly into H-like, He-like, and fluorescent, and suggest structures within these components. No Doppler shift is observed, and the lines are not broad as was claimed from ASCA data. GK Per shows a shoulder in the 6.4 keV line.
