Quiescent and Outburst X-ray Spin Profiles of GK Per
Quiescence
Outburst
The energy-resolved X-ray spin profiles of
GK Per.
Data are from the 1995 February (quiescent) and 1996 March (outburst)
ASCA observations folded on the spin period of 351 s.
The Y-axis in each of the 4 panels goes from 50% of the mean level
to 150%. Note, in particular, that the spin pulse is very weak above
2 keV in quiescence.
