SM4 MISSION - FLIGHT DAY 5 - 05.15.2009

EVA # 2 with Mike Massimino and Michael Good.
Tasks - Removed and replaced three rate sensor units (RSU). One of the new upgraded units could not be seated into place. As a result, the spacewalkers installed a refurbished spare unit. The spacewalkers also replaced a new battery module from the telescope's Bay 2. Overrun on the RSU task resulted in this being the ninth longest spacewalk in history.
EVA start: 12:49, EVA finish: 20:45, Duration: 7 hours 56 minutes
