Social Activities
We are hosting a workshop dinner for
TES VII workshop participants as a way to maintain
some of the intimacy of the TES workshop within the
larger ASC conference. The cost of dinner will be
largely covered by the generous contribution from our
sponsors, STAR
Cryoelectronics, Luxel
and High Precision
Devices.

Directions:
Zen Fusion restaurant is reachable by foot, about a 30
minute walk; or a quick cab ride away. We have the
whole restaurant booked. There is seating available
for up to 100 people, including inside and outside

The cost of the banquet for the first 70
people to respond is $20 (including service).
Beverages are available and must be paid for directly
by individuals at the dinner. For each additional
person after the first 70, the cost will increase to
$40, so reserve your place early - no payment is
needed for the reservation, but you will be
honor-bound to pay. Payment ahead of time using paypal
(ideally right away) is desirable for those able to do
so, and maybe groups of you could arrange for some
collective payments in this way - see bottom of page
for details. Cash may be collected by the ASC
conference organizers on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th
August, or else at the door of the restaurant. People
associated with other low temperature detectors are
also very welcome to join the TES workshop dinner.

Please clearly state the name(s) of the
person (people) for whom the payment is being made.
You should send the money as the "personal payment to
a friend" option rather than purchase
of goods or services, in order to avoid any fee. If
you don't, the amount that will come through
to me will be $3 less.
Paypal is free for you to use if making
a payment from your bank account or paypal account.
(If you make a payment with a credit card, in the
recent past it was 30 cents plus 2.9% of the
transaction amount.)
We are not sure what the situation is
for international paypal payments. International
participants
are responsible for determining themsleves whether
this is possible, and how to send $20. It is
probably best for international participants to plan
to pay by cash at the meeting.
