Servicing Mission 3B: SM3B Discussion Board: General Discussion: Real Player is not Free

I would really like to see the live mission feed but I have to pay money for a real player 8. I should be able to see this information for free as a US citizen!
Older players should be able to see the feed. How about Quicktime and Win Media Player.

I know it is like watching grass grow but watching you guys work up there when I lived in DC it felt like I was there too. Wish I was...
Thanks

Perhaps as a US citizen you shouldn't have to pay for your own computer to access the website. Or the phone line. Or electricity. Or a snack while reading the US government provided free information.

Write a letter.

I would be happy to pay for a program that would allow me to watch NASATV without raping my privacy via Trojan ports and every other device imaginable. Have you looked at Real Network's "privacy policy"? Incredible! No one in their right mind should permit that kind of intrusion into their computer--and life.

You can watch NASATV using Windows media player. Go to http://www.spaceflight.nasa.gov/ and click on the NASA TV link. A little window will pop up. Click on NASA TV again and then the Windows media player window will pop up. Of course you can be the judge of whether Windows is any better.
