You guys are awesome!

I hope you guys realize how many folks around the world are cheering you on.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank You for being mankind's representatives in space. The work you've done may very well go down in history as the beginning of our "giant leap" in this millennium.

Love and best wishes to you and your families,

E

Thanks for letting us watch and to share in your mission. I have been watching the guys at NASA for a long time....having been born and raised in Houston. As a little girl, we used to go for rides in the country on Sunday afternoon. That country is now where the Astrodome is. We used to drive to Galveston and on our way down there, we used to look over to our left and try to figure exactly where the new "Space Center" would be built. And now I have sons old enough to work for NASA. So...I have seen many wonderful projects that NASA has done through the years and I am always delighted to be able to stay in touch and to witness the latest mission. Thanks for all your hours of work and study and for sharing your work with the many of us who were/are unable to be part of the NASA family. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

I've been a keen observer of our space missions since Apollo, and yours has been the most exciting mission ever - due in great part to the wonderful text and image narration of the mission's progress provided by you. Its been as close as we earth-bound enthusiasts could get to being a part of the mission! Thank you.
Oh, and Dr. Currie, my 7 year old daughter - Rachel, was very impressed to learn that a "girl" (her words!)was operating the control arm. Perhaps she's been inspired to consider such a career!

I want to applaud your skill and bravery, both of which I feel are not recognized enough. Thanks for doing such a great job and proving that America still has a lot of genuine heroes. Everytime I watch a launch, I relate it to my fear of roller coasters, and I still say to myself "those guys are mental". Totally in awe of what you do for our country, and the world. Thanks again.
