Cycle 6 Information

GALEX Project at Caltech

Q: xx weeks ago you informed me that my target had been observed successfully. Where's my data?

We make monthly data deliveries to MAST.

Our goal is to have imaging data processed through the pipeline and available through MAST within 60 days of observation.

Our goal for grism data is 90 days.

We (galexhelp) will notify you by email you when your data is available at MAST and your 6 month proprietary period begins.

It is our intent to notify you again shortly before the proprietary period ends.

The short (6 month) proprietary period was mandated by HQ when the GALEX GI program was approved
