Please keep checking this page. More details coming soon!

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are planning a one day workshop at Goddard Space Flight Center on Thursday, November 12, 1998. There are two primary objectives for the Workshop. The first objective is to identify the types of technology needed to support ULDB science missions. We’ll do this by discussing the current Ultra Long Duration Balloon Program Technology Roadmap and then by providing presentations on the current state of the art in the applicable technology areas. The second objective of the Workshop is to identify - for the commercial technology providers - what sources of funding they can tap into to build the technologies and how to go about doing so successfully. We’ll accomplish this second objective by having presenters who are close to the proposal reviewing process and others who have successfully bid proposals in the past.

We look forward to an exciting and fruitful Workshop and we invite you to put it on your calendar and plan on attending.
