Craig Markwardt writes:

Bulge observation for 16 Apr 2003 = Mission day 3392

* SLX 1746-331, one of two adjacent X-ray novae, appears to have
  peaked already at 400 mCrab and has decayed to 320 mCrab.

* H1743-322, the second X-ray nova, continues its rise, after a slight
  slowdown, now up to ~710 mCrab.

* SLX 1735-269 appears to be going into one of its transient cycles
  again.  We may expect it to go into "eclipse" (/ quiescence) again
  for a few weeks.  Last time we got a good view of this was in 1999.

* GRS 1758-258, which had dropped into a faint state, and was
  recovering, has dropped again, to about 4 mCrab.  Peak value was ~40
  mCrab.
