Craig Markwardt writes: A report on the bulge scan of March 25 (mission day 1909). These scans were "regular", i.e. scanning most rapidly along DEC. The report was delayed because the data were not immediately available in the "realtime" mode. * We caught another burst, again from 4U 1728 / Rapid Burster. The maximum flux was about 8000 ct/s, and the duration was > 10 sec. The source of the bursts is probably the Rapid Burster, given that the Rapid Burster has been active recently, and that the burst is more closely centered on the Rapid Burster's position than that of 4U1728. Also, the burst is rather faint to be from 4U 1728. No strong oscillations were seen near 306 Hz or 364 Hz. * No other new bright transient sources were seen. * After reaching a low of about 600 ct/s (60 mCrab) K1731-26, has been steadily increasing in the past week and a half, and is now at ~1000 ct/s (100 mCrab). * XTE J1710-281, the eclipser, is faint, less than ~ 1 mCrab. * XTE J1744-36 (A1744) has increased to about 70 ct/s (7 mCrab). * XTE J1819-254, after peaking at 270 ct/s (27 mCrab), is now at 160 ct/s.
