I am a theoretical astrophysicist. Most of my research is on physics of compact objects and high energy astrophysical phenomena. I use both numerical and analytical methods in my research but especially enjoy developing new numerical techniques for solving complex astrophysical problems.

I am a research scientist at Astrophysics Science Division of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Astronomy Department of University of Maryland College Park. Before coming to Goddard I was a research scientist at Astronomy Department and Theoretical Astrophysics Center at University of California Berkeley, USA.
