- * (Doubtful): The 34.64 min optical period was discovered while the
Nova was in the SSS phase. The multi-periodic or queasi-periodic
flux variations of the supersoft component, seen in several other recent
novae, is a far more likely explanation, since optical light is
likely to be dominated by the reprocessing of the supersoft component.
