- Bibinfo (this paper at ADS)
- Echevarria, J., Smith, R.C., Costero, R., Zharikov, S., Michel, R. 2008,
MNRAS, 387, 1563-1574.
- Type
- Observational: Optical spectroscopy.
- Object(s):
- AE Aqr.
- Results
- The absorption-line radial velocity amplitude is determined to be
K2=168.7+/-1 km/s, and inclination is estimated to be ~70 deg from
the rotational velocity curve. The secondary changes between K0 and K4
depending on the orbital phase, and masses are estimated to be 0.63 Msun
and 0.37 Msun. The secondary is ~2 times larger than the main sequence
star of the same mass.
