Craig Markwardt writes:

Here is a report of the galactic bulge scans for the past two
observations, 23 and 26 Mar.

 * SAX J1747 is still declining, now to about 45 mCrab, or near one
   third of its peak value three weeks ago.

 * The rapid burster is active again.  I actually had it in the 23 Mar
   observation but was too preoccupied with the Rossi2000 conference
   to notice it.  [ My eyes were on SAX J1808 only, which has been
   dead. ]  We did see a burst near 196457270 MET = 19:27 UT 23 Mar.

 * 4U 1820-30 is at about 500 mCrab, the highest in the past half-year.

 * FAINT TRANSIENT: a source I have identified as RXS
   J172635.1-blah.blah, has gone from its quiescent level of 2 mCrab
   to about 8 mCrab over the past three weeks.

 * ANOTHER FAINT TRANSIENT: XTE J1710-281, a bursting eclipsing dipper
   we found August 1998, is near its low.  It appears to cycle in the
   0.5-8 mCrab range on a roughly 30 day timescale.
