Craig Markwardt writes:

Here are the galactic bulge observations for 02 Mar 2000 (day 2252).
The scans were primarily east-west.

 * SAX J1808-3658 has again returned to it's "off" baseline level.

 * GRS 1747-312 ( = Terzan 6 ) is still in its slow decline (still
   around 24 mCrab).

 * SAX J1747-2853 appears to have become active again, with a spike up
   to about 35 mCrab.  This is a fairly dense area of the sky, just a
   few degrees from the galactic center.  Of the sources that I have
   in my model, none of the other nearby ones were fitted with any
   significant excess flux (2S 1742-294, SGR A, XTE J1748-288, XTE
   J1739-285).  Also, the residuals are less than <2mCrab in that
   immediate area.  Thus, I am fairly certain of this association.
   Since the emission was seen in more than one scan, it was probably
   not an X-ray burst.

   There was another brief episode of activity around March last year,
   which I also attributed to SAX 1747.

 * GX 9+1 is at the highest flux seen to date, near 850 mCrab.
