Here is a summary of the galactic bulge sources (MJD 52195.4):

 * GRS 1747-312 (Terzan 6) appears to be beginning another outburst.
   This pretty close to right on time for its 140 day recurrence
   period.  The measured flux was about 4.5 mCrab.

 * NGC 6440 is still at cruising altitude, around 140 mCrab.

 * SAX J1747.0-2853 has remained near the 100 mCrab level.

 * R 1832-330, a source I haven't mentioned too much because of its
   relative steadiness, is no longer very steady.  It has decayed to
   about half of its typical value, from 7 mCrab to about 3 mCrab.
   Does anybody know more about this source?

 * The tail end of a burst was seen from GS 1826-238, just as we
   slewed onto it (near 13 Oct 2001 10:59 UT).  The source is at the
   last point of the scans, so a few minutes are spent on it.  The
   time decay is easily seen, but the peak flux is difficult to tell.

 * SLX 1735-269 has had a small run-up in intensity, by about 40% to
   14 mCrab.  A previous run-up lead to a multi-month transient period
   before it returned to steady persistence.

 * GRS 1758-258 is still in a quiescent period, although it has had a
   few burbles.
