Craig Markwardt writes:

Here is a report for the galactic scans of July 15 and 18 (mission
days 2021 and 2024).  I had been away for two weeks and processing
wasn't fixed until now.

 * GRS 1747-312 (Terzan 6) is on a slow increase, up to about 30
   ct/s/PCU (2-10 keV).  For comparison, its previous quiescent level
   was near 10 ct/s, the recent outburst went to 350 ct/s.

 * KS 1731-260 seems to have entered another high cycle, jumping from
   650 ct/s to 1250 ct/s in three days time.  This is about the third
   time we have seen this.

For David Smith, there doesn't seem to be any unusual activity of
1E1740.7-2942 or GRS 1758-258.  Nothing looks out of the ordinary in
the neighborhood, but of course there are bright sources in both areas
that confuse the source fitting algorithm some.

In the past week a new set of observations have finished.  Because of
observing constraints of another proposals we had to chop the
observation into small chunks.  I anticipate there may be problems, so
the analysis may be delayed.
