Commentary

Craig Markwardt writes:

This is a report on the bulge scans of March 28, day 1919.  About two
thirds of the realtime data were missing this time, meaning that we
will have to wait for a few days to get the final products.  The gap
in coverage is the northern part of the scan, which has relatively few
sources, so the problem is not too bad.  I will wait until all of the
data is available before publishing a new web page.

* We caught yet another burst by the Rapid Burster near mission time
  165264000.  [or, at least what I think is the rapid burster based on
  my previous arguments. ]  Since these have happened every time now, I
  won't say more.
* K1731-26 continues its slow rise past 1000 ct/s (100 mCrab).
* XTE J1723-376 continues to be bright, at about 750 ct/s (75 mCrab).
* XTE J1710-281 is at about 25 ct/s (2 mCrab).
* XTE J1819-254 is steady at about 150 ct/s (15 mCrab).
* No new transients.

All rates are 2-10 keV, corrected to 5 PCUs.
