Present PositionWriter for Beyond Einstein and the Exploration of the Universe Division (SP Systems)Brief BioChristopher came to GSFC in 1999 after a couple of short writing stints at Columbia University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Although his educational background is in journalism and health, he was hired to relay the latest NASA astronomy results to the news media and general public. He ghostwrites several press releases each month based on new science results from any institute, as long as it falls within the Beyond Einstein and EUD themes: cosmology, astrophysics, black holes and such. He also writes several magazine articles each year, chiefly his bi-monthly "Armchair Astrophysics" column in Mercury and feature articles for Sky & Telescope and Astronomy.Still active in the field of health, he has written two books and dozens of health articles for periodicals such as the Washington Post. He has given numerous health presentations internationally, such as for the governments of Peru, Chile, Brazil and Mexico.
